- The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Mack-Cali Realty Corporation 100 Plaza One Harborside Financial Center Jersey City, NJ for the following: Construction of 44 linear feet of interior wall in open office space; Wall to be 8 foot 6 inches high extending to existing drop ceiling; Wall to have 19 inch high frosted glass clearstories 4 inches from top of wall extending the entire length of wall; A 7 foot by 3 foot solid core wood veneer door will be installed on one end of wall; Six electrical outlets are to be installed in the wall; All work to be performed on an after hours basis. Included in work is creation of sealed architectural drawings that must submitted to the Jersey City Building Office for approval. Plans must also be submitted to Landlord for their review and approval. Plans will detail the Construction, Electrical, Reflected Ceiling, mechanical and Life Safety system work. The bid must include any fees associated with insurance, expediting fees and testing of the life safety system by the City of Jersey City. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Responsible firms must submit sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirement and past performance information. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However,all submissions received by 5/20/07 (by 2:00PM EST) to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. Such information, if submitted, should be emailed to isabel.romancogswell@ots.treas.gov. If this procurement is competed, no additional synopsis will be published and a request for quotation will only be forwarded to the intended vendor and firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
