- VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Columbus House, 586 Ella T. Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519 to provide temporary housing (5 to 10 beds) to veteran patients of VA Connecticut Healthcare System as they work to meet their functional needs while receiving services at VA Connecticut. Facility must be JCAHO accredited and within a 5 mile radius of VA Connecticut's West Haven campus. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. Businesses who feel they may be capable of providing these services shall submit all applicable information to VA Connecticut by May 20, 2008. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of VA.
