- DESC: NSN: 5340-01-274-6379, Part Number 12599173, the item to procure is an Adapter, Direct Fire used on the M119A2 Howitzer. The Adapter, Direct Fire is a close tolerance machined precision steel casting. Composition IC 302, IC 303 or IC 304. Solution Heat treated per spec MIL-S-81591 with phosphate a base and CARC paint finish. The completed machined part is 9.99 in x 5.63 in x 4.78 in. Estimated issue date is May 29, 2008. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed contract will include two 100 percent options. This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders' mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the internet address https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposals nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
