- Description
- The USPFO for New York is requesting proposals for asbestos abatement for two (2) buildings located at the New York Army National Guard Weekend Training Site located at 25 Baiting Place Road, Farmingdale, NY. Work inlcudes, but is not limited to removal and disposal of floor tile, mastic, roof flashing, built up roof paper, tank insulaltion and pipe elbows. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 30 calendar days after notice to proceed is issued by the Government. The NAICS code applicable to the solicitation is 562910 with a small businees size standard of $7,000,000. The soliciation is set aside 100% for small business concerns. The due date for proposals is June 13, 2008 at 2:00 EST. A site visit will be conducted on or around May 28, 2008 at 0900 EST at the work site. This notice will be updated to provide the exact date of the site visit. Firms interested in attending the site visit should confirm their attndance via e-mail to Mark R. Walsh@us.army.mil. All questions concerning this solcicitation must be submitted in writing to mark.r walsh@us.army.mil. The solicitation will be available on or about 20 May, 2008 on this website. Paper copies will not be issued.
