Description

OFFICE: 6 CONS/LGCA, 2606 Brown Pelican Ave, MacDill AFB, FL 33621 SUBJECT: 6th Security Forces Office Furniture DUE: 11:00 EST, 2 June 2008 POC: SSgt Sovanna Tanner, Contracting Specialist, Phone: (813) 828-1377; Fax (813) 828-3667. DESCRIPTION: The Government intends to purchase office furniture in support of the 6th Security Forces Squadron mission at MacDill AFB, Florida. This requirement is being set-aside 100% for Service-Disable Veteran Owned Businesses. This notice is an announcement for a Presolicitation Conference to further define the government's need. Due to its magnitude and complexity, interested and eligible contractors are highly encouraged to attend this conference to grasp complete understanding of this requirement. This Presolicitation Conference will be held at 9:00 EST on Tuesday, 17 June 2008 at the 6th Contracting Squadron on MacDill AFB, building 149, conference room # 312. At this time, any and all eligible contractors that qualify to bid on this requirement will be able to ask questions that they may have. For purposes of this presolicitation notice, the North american Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes are 337211; Wood Office Furniture, 337127; Institutional Furniture Manufacturing, 337920; Blind and Shade Manufacturing, and 337215, Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing; all with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The place of performance for this requirement will be at the 6th Security Forces Squadron, MacDill AFB. The contractor shall provide design/layout, delivery, and installation of all furniture to furnish a two-story building as defined in the attached performance work statement and drawings in support of the 6th Security Forces. Breakrooms 2 Breakroom Conference Room 1 Conference Room Holding Cell 2 Holding Cell Armory/Weapon Issue 2 Weapon Clearing/Storage Janitor's Closet 2 Miscellaneous Interview Room/Guardmount 2 Miscellaneous Exterior Windows Any Applicable Blinds/Window Treatment Firms responding to this notice are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, DUNS number, address and a point of contact. Final responses as to whether your company would like to attend this Presolicitation Conference will be due at 11:00 EST on Monday, 2 June 2008. Anyone responding after the close of this notice will not be permitted to attend the Presolicitation Conference. All interested and eligible contractors MUST respond with intent to attend this conference and submit names of all individuals attending. Presentation of product display, samples, catalogs, etc. are highly encouraged. NOTE: For access to the installation, all drivers must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of auto insurance. All proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
