- Some questions that come to mind are; Will there be standing or flowing water present?, as I was informed there would be during my site visit. YES In addition to side slopes, & bottom it is also stated; all vegetation is to be removed from along the fence line & shoulders. Only up to the fence the road is next to the ditches. So are we talking about a requirement to manually clip/dig out vegetation that may be entangled in the chain link fence?, or will removal of any & all vegetation accessible through mechanical means be acceptable?. For instance would it be acceptable to roto-till, or disk the fence line area if accessible with a small tractor should excavator reach prove to be limited? No only clean up to the perimeter fence.. Is there a cross section drawing available giving payline limits?. NONE What is the actual total footage of the ditches to be cleaned? +or- 3575 FT. Are elevation figures available to give an indication as to the percentage of fall between any structures, pipe crossing etc.?. NO Please clarify: The paragraph 3.0 SCOPE, which seems to conflict with paragraph 5.0 GENERAL REQUIRMENTS. In regards as to whom is to grade out spoil piles at a later date. CES will grade out spoils.
