- Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) Janitorial Services The MEDCOM Health Care Acquisition Activity, Center for Health Care Contracting, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, intends to award one non-personal services, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, task order contract to provide labor, supvervision, management support, transportation, equipment, materials and supplies. Provide complete hospital housekeeping services for the 4th Floor of Building 2 and the Military Advanced Training Center (MATC) Building, totaling 242,658 square feet and complete floor care, stairwell, and elevator cleaning (janitorial) services for all remaining areas in Building 2, totaling 637,214 square feet. Facilities are part of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC). The base period of performance will be from 1 December 2008 through 30 November 2009 with four 1-year options through 30 November 2013. This competitive procurement is 8(a) set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 561720. The small business size standard for this requirement is $15,000,000.00. Offerors must have at least 24 months of hospital grade Janitorial experience within the previous five (5) years as of the due date for submission of proposals under this solicitation. Offerors may meet this mandatory minimum experience requirement through a Mentor/Protg Agreement (Small Business Administration or Department of Defense) or joint venture arrangement. The solicitation W81K04-08-R-0038 will be issued without further notice on or about 27 May 2008 and will be available for downloading through FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax requests will not be accepted. A pre-proposal conference/site visit is scheduled at 0800 EST on 10 June 2008 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC. The site visit instructions will be posted in the solicitation.
