- Solicitation Number: VA-69D-08-RP0414; Title: FCA Reroofing100% Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform work for Project 607-08-114, "FCA Reroofing Project". Work shall include complete roof removal to the roof deck of approximately 52000 sq. ft. and replaced with a new 60 mil EPDM and insulation with average "R" Value of 20. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all work related debris. All workmanship shall conform to the material manufacturer's recommendations and accepted industry standards. All work shall be performed in accordance with the scope of work, these general requirements, and the project specifications. WORK REQUIREMENTS: Fully Adhered Roofs (see areas on map) Contractor shall remove existing roof down to roof deck. Contractor shall install fully adhered roof with all new 60 mil EPDM rubber roofing, insulation with an average "R" value of 20, counter flashing, term bar, drip cap, and seam tape on all seams in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all old materials and any related debris. Ballasted Roofs (see areas on map) Contractor shall remove existing roof down to roof deck. Contractor shall install ballasted roof with all new 60 mil EPDM rubber roofing, insulation with an average "R" value of 20, counter flashing, term bar, drip cap, and seam tape on all seams in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Contractor shall (reuse existing ballast). Contractor shall remove and dispose of all old materials and any related debris. Contractor is responsible to remove items from site upon completion of work. A PreProposal Conference is scheduled for June 3, 2008 at 10:00AM and another on June 4, 2008 at 10:00AM. The conference will be held at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Room B93, Madison, Wisconsin. Disposal and Retention: Maintain work areas in a clean, safe condition at all times during installation. Remove excess materials, trash, and debris from the jobsite daily. At the completion of the project, clean area of any spills and containers and clean up all roofing debris, leaving jobsite in a clean and orderly condition. WARRANTY: Contractor shall provide 10-year Manufacturer's Warranty.
