Description
THIS IS MARKET RESEARCH/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SEEKING INFORMATION ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT IS LOOKING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES THAT CAN OR COULD PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: RF-ID Location Tags to be used to track ground equipment in the local area. All of the following are MANDATORY requirements/characteristics for the location tags and/or associated equipment: (1) Must use MAC address for identification, not IP address. (2) Must use GPS/Wi-Fi location interface (i.e. not Time Delay of Arrival or Received Signal Strength Indication) to locate equipment w/in 50 feet. (3) Transmit GPS coordinates in "real time" to Air Force Database or web server. (4) Extended battery life greater than 2 years. (5) Battery Replacement capable. (6) Tag must be able to warn user of low battery power. (7) Water proof case for tags capable of withstanding extreme desert temperatures (0 to 150 degrees F). (8) Any back end software must use Simple Object Access Protocol, or newer, to allow communications with other servers, applications or databases. (9) Flexible software licensing terms. (10) Must be able to use CISCO or Aruba Access points to transmit location coordinates. (11) Must be FCC compliant. (12) Must have movement sensor and be able to enter sleep mode when not moving. (13) Must have the ability to adjust the blink rate. (14) Vendor should have sufficient capability to provide tags in minimal time after order (for example 1,000 tags w/in approximately 2 months). (15) Vendor should have the ability to provide tag and server side software documentation/training support. (16) Minimum one-year product warranty. (17) Must be able to transmit information using WhereNet 802.11 frequencies (comply with the ISO/IEC 24730-2 Mode). AGAIN, THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. WE ARE CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. THE GOVERNMENT IS LOOKING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES THAT CAN OR COULD PROVIDE THE ABOVE FOR DAVIS-MONTHAN AFB, AZ. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS REQUEST.
