Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) is considering whether to remain in its existing lease space or relocate. In making this decision, GSA will consider, among other things, the costs it would likely incur through relocation, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements, telecommunications infrastructure costs, non-productive agency downtime, security and other appropriate considerations. GSA currently leases 11,586 rentable square feet of Hangar and related space in Scottsdale, AZ. This lease is expiring June 30, 2008. The GSA has an interest in leasing approximately 11,586 rentable square feet of hangar and related space of which must yield a minimum of 11,586 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet and must be contiguous. The considered term of occupancy is Fifteen (15) years, five (5) years firm. Space must be located on-airport with direct taxi-way access in Scottsdale, Arizona, available for occupancy July 1, 2008 and suitable for the storage, maintenance and operation of aircraft. Space must meet the Federal Government's standards for fire safety; seismic; accessibility; security, and must not be located within a 100-year floodplain. The minimum contiguous space requirement, availability date, on-airport location and aircraft operational requirements will be considered go/no-go factors during consideration of possible alternatives Expressions of interest must arrive at the following address by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2008: US GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION Attn: Don Crawford, Leasing Specialist Region 9, Real Estate Division - Phoenix Office 401 West Washington Street, Suite 180 Phoenix, Arizona 85003 Telephone: 602.514.7082 Fax: 602.514.7495 don.crawford@gsa.gov Expressions of interest must include the following information: * Building Name and Address * Rentable square feet available and the expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced. * ANSI/BOMA Office area square feet (OASF) to be offered and the expected rental rate per OASF * Date of space availability * Method of rentable space measurement * Building Ownership information * Amount and type of parking available on-site and its cost. Include whether expected rental rate includes the cost of the required Government parking * List of building services provided The Government's decision regarding whether or not to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement. In the event that a potential Offeror fails to provide specific expected rental rate or other required information as part of its response to this advertisement, the Government reserves the right to assume that the building in question cannot meet the Government's requirements.
