- Furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary to construct 824 rods of 3-wire barbed wire fence, (smooth bottom wire) for 3 fence projects and 2090 rods of 4-wire barbed wire (smooth bottom wire) for 5 fences. Bid Schedule Items will be as follows: 1) Mobilization, 1 is; 2) Barbed Wire Fence 4-wire, 2090 rods; 3) Barbed Wire Fence 3-wire, 824 rods; 4) Barbed Wire End Panels, 7 ea; 5) Barbed Wire Stress Panels, 71 ea; 6) Three Post Corner, 1 ea; 7) Five Post Corner, 18 ea; 8) Barbed Wire Gate 3-wire, 7 ea; 9) Barbed Wire Gate 4-wire, 17 ea. Work under this contract is located in Prairie, Dawson, Custer and Carter counties, Montana. The contractor will have ninety eight (98) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about July 15, 2008, dependent upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required upon notification of award for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be in the form of one of the following: 1) Irrevocable Letter of Credit; 2) Certificate of Deposit, or 3) Payment Bond. Submission of the payment protection is required within 10 days of notification of award. Contractors being considered for award of a government contact must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Vendor must register their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about May 27, 2008. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about June 25, 2008. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. Information on the Site Tour will be posted in the solicitation. This procurement is a Total Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238990. The small business size standard is $13.0 million.
