- The Department of Veterans Affairs Audie L. Murphy Memorial Hospital, San Antonio, TX, VISN 17, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Edstrom Industries, for the acquisition and installation of miscellaneous Edstrom Watchdog System components including; Local Processors with surface enclosures, Power Supply stations, Magnetic Door Locks, Push-To-Exit releases, Emergency kill switches and a Watchdog Smart Box Interface Panel. The Contractor shall provide all parts, accessories, software and manuals. NAICS code 339999. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 P.M.
