- Description
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to include open market items on a General Services Administration Federal Acquisition Service award to Appian Corporation. The open market items include Appian Enterprise training and certification program. Training was proposed during a competitive comparison using the General Services Administration's Federal Acquisition Service. The procurement for FDA Enterprise Business Process Management Application is closed. Acquiring the training and certification from one source will provide a single point of contact for training, and accountability. The period of performance for this requirement is from date of award through June 01, 2011. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.501(a) and no other solution will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 541519 and the size standard is $23.0 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations and no solicitation document is available. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give notification to the Contracting Officer by 8:00am local eastern time on May 19, 2008. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information can be emailed to the Contracting Officer, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Attn: Linda Alexander-Giles at the email below. Responses received will be reviewed, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the FDA will proceed with the sole source award to Appian Corporation, 800 Towers Crescent Drive #16, Vienna, Virginia, 22182. The anticipated award date of this contract is on or around June 1, 2008. No collect calls will be accepted.
