- This is a synopsis (sources sought) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, solicitation no. FA4690-07-Q-C103 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on 9 May 2008. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is NAICS code: 611519. Size Standard: $6.5 M. This solicitation is to provide Pro-Board certified Rescue 1 Technician course IAW NFPA 1006, Chapters 5, 6, 8 and 9 for 20 students at Ellsworth Fire Department (Bldg 7502) at Ellsworth AFB, SD. The estimated date of delivery will need to be between 1 July through 30 August 2008. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: price.
