- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO: Draeger Safety Systems, Inc. DBA Swede Survival Systems Divisions, 700 Second Street, Suite G, Encinitas, CA 92024, for the acquisition of a Phase IV, replacement Burn Module to provide live fire training for the burning of class A material, UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.501(A)(1). The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Eastern Recruiting Range, Parris Island, SC intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to the above named company. The value of this award is estimated to under $78,000.00. The purpose of this action is to maintain the integrity of the United States Marine Corps fire departments by ensuring the Phase IV GARAGE, to be used with existing multi story building located on Page field. Phase IV will also be used in conjunction with the Phase V multi-story system procured in 2007 from the original manufacturer. This will also maintain compatability and proper connectivity with the original procurement of the Phase V multi-story building and future procurements of phase II and to support flashback fires, garage fires, etc. The expected award date is 2 April 2008. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. This notice is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation exists and no telephones calls will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice.
