- Description
- The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for 1 each Q800 Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA) that provides viscoelastic measurements on materials from 1000 Pa to 1000 GPa. The temperature and frequency range of operation are (-150 to 600 deg C) and (0.01 to 200 Hz) respectively P/N: 985000.901, 1 each Film and Fiber Tension kit for Q800 DMA 2980: Kit includes one set of smooth clamp fixtures for testing films and fibers in a tensile mode on the DMA 2980 P/N: 985016.901, 1 each Shear sandwich kit for Q800 DMA or DMA 2980: Kit includes fixtures for testing soft materials in a pure shear deformation P/N: 984017.901, Installation and Training P/N: 924999.901. (Microsoft IE required). Items must be brand name or equal. Additional specifications and opening and closing dates will appear in the RFQ. This acquisition is solicited under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the Supply and Information Services Division website http://supply.nrl.navy.mil. This requirement will be available for downloading the 16th day after publication of this synopsis. Prior to this date you will not be able to access this solicitation.
