- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the following items:4-CH D/A UPCNVERT W/FPGA VIM, Model # 6228, Qty - 11 GHZ Carrier w/16K BIFOs, 1GB, Model # 4205-057-322-340, Qty - 14CH 105 MHZ A/D W/XC2VP50 FPGA, Model # 6256-009-050, Qty - 1We require the three digital signal processing boards that will match an existing set ofthree boards on the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna Project (LISA) to add onadditional channels with the same capability. The boards must run the same software,including firmware (FPGA code). Due to restricted size requirements the system must havethe same form factor and be able to share the same instrument backplane, power source,and bus. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Pentek, Inc., pursuant to FAR 13.106 for theacquisition of supplies and services determined to be reasonably available from only onesource.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeby the response date listed above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluatedsolely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on acompetitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed efforton a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solelywithin the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
