- This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought synopsis. The following information is provided to assist the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in conducting market research of the industry to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required to successfully provide leasing capabilities and maintenance to twenty-two (22) Ambulances at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. Lease periods will cover a one year base period, and four (4) one year option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 621910. Solicitation number W52P1J-08-R-0098 will be issued as full and open/unrestricted basis, with the possibility of being awarded to multiple contractors. Prospective offerors are requested to provide the following information: (1) name and address of the firm; (2) number or years in business; (3) two points of contact, including: name, title, phone, and e-mail address; (4) Cage Code and DUNS Number (if available); (5) types of ambulances that they can provide, including specifications (6) delivery schedule of when these twenty-two (22) ambulances could be provided to Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. It is requested that these comments be electronically addressed by Thursday, 15 May 2008 to Ms. Amanda Dahl at email address: amanda.j.dahl@us.army.mil. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government.
