DESCRIPTION: NSN(s): 5905-00-404-0041 Item Description: Resistor, Variable, W; Aircraft Stratolifter C/KC-135 Quantity (including option quantity): Estimated yearly demand is 23. Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: Shipping locations within the United States will be designated on individual orders. Delivery Schedule: Up to 23 each in 115 days ADO. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. ( x ) The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 14 MAY 08. ( x ) The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. ( x ) The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five years. ( x ) This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Custom Sensors & Technologies (11534) and Honeywell International (99193). ( x ) While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. ( x ) Various Increments Solicited: FROM: TO: 1 to 3, 4 to 9, 10 to 14, 15 to 23. 2. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: None- Unrestricted.
