- Description
- The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division, Procurement Services Staff, intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the license and support of software products from NetManage, Inc. The support shall include, but is not limited to, providing corrections to known problems encountered with existing software, providing additional functionality to the software as it becomes available in order to ensure reliability and function, providing for the upgrade of the software products in the event of an operating system or processor change, and providing technical support services. This software is currently run on three IBM 2086-260 enterprise servers, located at the Justice Data Centers - Washington DC and Dallas TX. The software must be capable of running under the z/OS and z/VM mainframe operating systems. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after the date this notice is published will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
