- 1. The approximate quantities of each variant over the 5 year programme preferably by year. Answer: This is an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery Requirement (IDIQ) through Fiscal Year 2015. Estimated CLIN quantities will be provided with the Solicitation. 2. When production is expected to start and end. Answer: This will be a 5-year IDIQ requirement. Production is expected to start 3 to 6 months after date of award 3. Can we be provided drawings of each variant including packaging. Answer: Packaging information will be provided with the Solicitation. Drawings will be provided to the awardee. 4. Where deliveries will be required to be made. Answer: McAlester AAP-Okalahoma, Tooele AAP-Utah, and Crane AAA- Indiana 5. Assuming that a White Paper was for those companies proposing to develop the capacity to manufacture. Is that what you had in mind? Answer: This is a general, market research Sources Sought to identify capable contractors interested in providing the required items. A combined synopsis/solicitation will follow. 6. Will the Government, at this preliminary stage, be seeking more information and if so, what might required. Answer: A competitive Solicitation will be forthcoming. 7. Guidance on the process adopted by the USMC in solicitations of this type. Answer: The upcoming Solicitation will include instructions. 8. Volumes of product/Budgetary information and in what timelines. Answer: Estimated Program at this time: FY09, $5,575,000; FY10, $2,400,000; FY11 $6,984,000; FY12, $5,300,000; FY13, $2,600,000; FY14, $2,652,000; and FY15, $2,704,000. Total Program $28,215,000.
