- The Social Security Administration (SSA) will hold its inaugural small business procurement conference on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the agency headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. The objective of the conference is to provide small business concerns with an understanding of the agency’s mission and activities. This will be an exclusive opportunity for small business concerns to learn from agency subject matter experts how business capabilities match the agency’s acquisition needs. In order to foster educational opportunities for conference participants we will host three workshops with federal advocates of small business concerns. Large businesses looking to achieve supplier diversity are encouraged to exhibit. The services of Federal Business Council are being utilized to assist SSA in organizing and executing the small business conference.
