- Description
- The 319th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a solicitation for a Protestant Religious Coordinator at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The coordinator will directly with the Senior Protestant Chaplain or his/her designee. The Coordinator will plan, organize, and coordinate Protestant Activities and Religious Education functions, and recruit and train volunteers for activities and functions, as required by the Senior Protestant Chaplain. This includes, but is not limited to: 319 Air Refueling Wing (ARW) Chaplain Service staff meetings and functions, ecumenical and interfaith activities, community activities, age and/or group specific ministries, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School/Christian Formation classes, Children’s Worship, Other Protestant activities, events, functions as required. The coordinator will submit a resume and interview with the Religious Education Chaplain, Senior Protestant Chaplain and NCOIC, preferably a Baccalaureate Degree in Christian Education or its equivalent or three (3) years experiences as Protestant Religious Activities Coordinator. Performance and qualifications shall be to the standards stated in the Statement of Work. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract with a base year and four one-year option periods. The base period of performance will be from 1 Jul 08 through 30 Sep 08.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813110, and the small business size standard is $6.5 Mil. This acquisition will be a Small Business Set-Aside. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 27 May 08 via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). Paper copies of the solicitation will not be mailed. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking FBO to obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation; prospective offerors are encouraged to register for notification through FBO. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) to be eligible for award. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to three weeks to process. Instructions are available at the CCR website.
