Description
This solicitation is for the acquisition of part-numbered items that fall within the scope of this contract. In addition to the items specified in Section B of this solicitation, the scope of this contract includes all DLA and DOD managed NSNs fo which one, any or all of the following is/are approved source(s): Nash Engineering (42280). Items within the scope may be added to this initiative or any resulting contract(s) at a later date in accordance with Clause I16C04, Addition/Deletion of Items. All NSNs will be available on the DSCC website at https://222.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. FSCs to be covered under this project include: 3110, 3120, 3230, 4310, 4320, 4730, 4820, 5305, 5307, 5310, 5315, 5330, 5331, 5335, 5342, 5360, 5365, 6680, 9330, 9340. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of: May 28, 2008. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option yers) shall not exceed 3 years. This proposed procurement includes a family grouping of items within the Federal Supply Class: 3120, 4310, 4320, 4730, 4820, 5310, 5315, 5330, 5342, 5365, 6680, 9330. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: NONE.
