Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404, for dye termination reaction components sold in premixed forms, part #4337452, TF,BDT v1.1 RR-5000 & SEQ BUFFER. These reagents are solely for use in existing Applied Biosystems sequencers which are located in the Polio and Picornavirus Laboratory, which is a WHO-accredited Polio diagnostic laboratory and must follow WHO-issued protocols in the identification and analysis of Poliovirus specimens. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business. For contractual questions contact Linda M.
