- This is a Sources Sought for Refuse Collection and Recycling Services at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. The government is considering whether to set aside this acquisition for HUBZone concerns only or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111, Solid Waste Collection, and the small business size standard is $11.5M. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services, except as specified in the Performance Work Statement as Government-furnished property. Performance shall be to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. Service is provided to base industrial areas as well as military family housing. If you are either a HUBZone firm or a SDVOSB firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by email to wanda.fellers@grandforks.af.mil. Your response must include a list of similar jobs involving refuse collection and recycling service completed within the last three years including references and all contracts now in progress. Submit a point of contact with phone and email information, and business status (HUBZone and/or SDVOSB). Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your response is requested by 4:30 PM CST on Thursday, 15 May 08. If you do not reply by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses from HUBZone and SDVOSB concerns, this acquisition will either be a HUBZone set-aside, SDVOSB set-aside, or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
