- Description
- The Government intends to procure under, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or service will satisfy agency requirements, the following items: 1. Landis & Gyr AXS4e Meter outfitted with the Distribution Control Systems Inc. two-way automatic communication system (TWACS) transponders manufactured by Landis & Gyr. a. Meter complies with ANSI C12.19 1997, American National Standard, Utility Industry End Device Data Tables. b. Meter equipped with flash memory for firmware upgrades or changing of the protocol between ANSI and DGCOM. c. Meter has transformer loss compensation. d. Meter has up to two (2) inputs from external devices for pulses input to load profile. e. Meter has on-board load profile. Meter allows load profile or a switch between 32 KB and 128 KB of load-profile storage. f. Meter is capable of communicating meter register values such as energy demand, usage, voltage, current, etc. back through the power distribution system to the existing network data server. g. Meter has the capability of becoming a full-function time-of-use (TOU) meter with a supercapacitor for short-term carryover. h. Meter is upgradeable from configuration AX to RX using a software upgrade.
