- Reference: NEEB1000-8-32336dxc DOC/NOAA/NESDIS Acquisition Management Division intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR Subpart 6.302.1, Other Than Full and Open Competition U.S.C. 253(c)(1)Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services shall satisfy the agency requirements. The proposed source is COMPUNETIX, INC. The item being purchased are for test equipment and interface support that has been previously purchased and installed at the locations for troubleshooting to resolve communications anomalies between the locations. Those products support a real time client/server performance monitoring and analysis tool. This system provides non-secure (black) for communication networks between the SOCC Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland and Fairbanks, AK. The items being purchased are as follows: 1. Call Back Modern U.S Robotics, USR 3453B 2. T1 Patch Panel 3. 6-wire Patch Panel ADC, JB6/46M 4. Single Patch cord, ADC, PJ764 5. T1 tester, sunset, T10 (SS150B, SS420-WT 6. 4-wire Tester, Ameritec, AM44 7. On-site Installation and Training at Fairbanks, AK 8. Shipping to Fairbanks, AK The Government intent is to procure yearly a software maintenance updated. This procurement action accomplishes this requirement. Offeror's who believe they can meet this requirement are to submit in writing an affirmative response. The National Industry Classification systems (NAICS) code is 334210. No written solicitation will be issued. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bonafide capability to meet the requirements. Failure to submit such documentation shall result in the Government proceeding as stated above. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Affirmative written responses must be received no later than 10 days after publication of this synopsis. Proposal submissions must be submitted to the following contact person in acquisitions.
