- The following questions were received from a vendor. The solicitation is hereby amended to include the following: Question 1) Is “of the bed temperature” required or can it be removed? Answer 1) Yes, please remove "of the bed temperature" Question 2) Under line item 0002, 2nd paragraph states installation includes “Hook- UP”. This is understood that the actual wiring of the electrical is the “End Users Responsibility”. Is this the correct understanding? Answer 2) Yes, NIST will supply materials and do the actual hook up of any electrical and air requirments to the machine. Question 3) Under Line item 0002 Paragraph one asks for 24 hour training session. Is this based on three 8 hour sessions? Answer 4) Training can be broken out at the vendor's descretion. Thorough training is required.
