- The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a compteitive procurement. The acquisition is for the purchase of 1 Lot, CLIN 0001, online continuing Medical Staff Education Courses for approximately 1000 end users. Including unlimited access to 450 courses covering 13 areas of discipline (including but not limited to Physician, Nursing, EMT, Dietetics, Medial Administration, Laboratory, Dental, Radiology, and Pharmacy) that comprise the Air Force Reserve Command Medical Service. The period of availability is for 6 months beginning 1 Jun 2008 through 30 Nov 2008. The soliciation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those currently in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular. Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items; 52.212-4, contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The additional FAR clauses 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, and 252.232-7003 apply to this acquisition. The NAICs code is 611430 and the size standard is $65,000,000.00. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA6643-08-T-0004 is a request for quotation and is due by 27 May 2008 at 4:00 pm local time to Cynthia G.
