- The sources sought announcement is modified/amended to revise the point of contact to Monique Klose at Monique.Klose@navy.mil. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport Division is hereby conducting a market survey of potential sources of Shipboard Rack Systems, isolated and non-isolated, to support computing and sensor equipment for naval high speed Air Cushioned Vehicles (ACV). The US Navy Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) was designed in the 1970s. The intended use for information collected from this solicitation is to assess advances in technology since the LCAC design in order to develop system capabilities for future ACVs. The information provided will assist NUWC Keyport in understanding the technologies available for packaging systems to be incorporated in an ACV replacement The Government is only looking at racking systems utilizing current technology available in the open market. This market survey shall in no way bind the Government to offer contracts to responding companies. See attachment for additional information regarding this sources sought and for requested format for response submittals. NUWC Keyport requests your responses by 10:00 am (PST) on 30 May 2008. Submissions will be accepted after this date, but feedback may not be as timely or contribute to NUWC Keyports strategic planning. Information should be e-mailed to Monique Klose at Monique.Klose@navy.mil or mailed to Naval Undersea Warfare Center (Code 181), Attn: Monique Klose, 610 Dowell St, Keyport, WA 98345-7610 and labeled with the solicitation number and title.
