- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for unit exchange and/or repair services of various items such as circuit card assemblies, RF distribution units, RF combining units, power supply assemblies and cable assemblies, not inclusive, applicable to the Instrument Landing System Model 2100 in support of the National Airspace System (NAS.) ILS equipment is used to provide distance information to aircraft from a known ground location. The requirement is for a base year and includes option provisions to renew for four additional 1-year periods, to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with that SELEX Sistemi Integrati, Overland Park, KS, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted in March 27, 2008, through April 7, 2008, and the results of this survey supported the determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm.
