- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY FOR THE U.S. ARMY DENTAL RESEARCH DETACHMENT (USADRD), GREAT LAKES, IL. USADRD is seeking a SMALL BUSINESS to provide scientists to provide support services. Support services are for medical research and development specifically in the areas of microbiology, immunology, analytical chemistry formulation chemistry, material characterization and electron microscopy. This announcement is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made of any costs to provide information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced under a separate announcement. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Each response must reference the sources sought title. All proprietary information should be marked as such. Responses will be held confidential if requested. Please submit fact sheets/capability statements to the attention of USAMRAA, Attn: Jennifer Jackson, 820 Chandler St. Ft. Detrick, MD 21702. Fact sheets/Capability Statements may be emailed to: Jennifer.Jackson1@US.ARMY.MIL. Responses must be received no later than 15 May 2008, by 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time.
