- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Navajo RegionalOffice solicits for an aerial application of herbicidespray. The proposed work consists of furnishing alllabor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation,supervision, and incidentals necessary to applyherbicide via helicopter to control salt cedarinfested areas of 133.3 acres in the San Juan andMcKinley County, New Mexico. The solicitation isunrestricted and is solicited on an open market basis.The estimated price range for this project is between$25,000 and $100,000. All interested firms shallsubmit a written request for a Request for Quotation(RFQ) to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division ofAcquisition, Attention Ella M. Dempsey, 301 West HillStreet, P. O. Box 1060, Gallup, New Mexico 87305 orfax your request to the Attention of Ella M. Dempseyat (505) 863-8382. Telephone requests to obtain theRFQ will not be accepted. Technical inquiries shallbe submitted in writing eight (8) calendar days beforethe closing date. Request for Quotation No.RMN00080035 must be submitted by close of business May23, 2008, Local time 4:30 P.M. Quotes submitted byfacsimile will be accepted. Award will be made at afair and reasonable price to the responsive andresponsible offeror whose quotation conforming to therequirements herein will be the most advantageous tothe Government, price and other factors considered.
