- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command C-E LCMC Acquisition Center Washington office proposes to enter into a contract with A/S Hydrema Export on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Close Combat Systems, Office of the Product Manager for Countermine and EOD, for the repair of one Government owned Hydrema Mine Clearing vehicle, under authority of FAR. 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The contractor shall perform all required inspections, repairs and maintenance for one Hydrema 910 MVC located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, Maryland. The contractor shall perform the necessary technical inspections, identify and supply all required repair parts and assemblies, and perform all required repairs and maintenance to return the vehicle to fully mission capable status and to operational condition IAW TM -10/-20 standards. The contractor shall provide communications daily to the Government to keep them informed of issues that may delay or prevent return of the vehicle to fully mission capable status and operational condition. The performance of all tasks will be completed within 30 days after contract award. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. All oferors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and DFARS 252.204-7004. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System rating for this acquisition is DO.
