- Request for proposal (RFP) for the operation of the Carville Job Corps Center, located in Carville, Louisiana will be available approximately May 22, 2008 on the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website: http//www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost plus incentive fee for a 2-year base period of February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2011 plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 200 residential students. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Carville Job Corps Center, 5465 Point Claire Road, Carville, Louisiana, 70721. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must check with Security and will be directed to the conference site. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of written submissions and possible Oral Presentation as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 12:00 p.m. local time Monday, July 14, 2008 to the Dallas Regional Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
