- Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai and Shoshone Counties, Idaho. Bridge removals under this project are located on several Ranger Districts on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. This project is for the demolition and removal of minor treated timber or native log stringer bridge structures on the Bonners Ferry, Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene River and Avery Ranger Districts of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. These minor structures are located on closed roads or are structurally deficient and no longer needed as part of the Forest’s transportation system. The work includes but is not limited to removal of native log and treated timber bridges, removal and disposal of treated timber bridge components, approach roadway excavation, seeding & mulching, minor equipment rental work and other incidental work items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the description of work and project specifications. Estimated start date of July-08 with a completion date of Oct-08 or July-Oct-09. The Govt estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be advertised as hub-zone certified.
