- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT by ACA Directorate of Contracting, 4118 Susquehanna Ave., Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD., using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure the following: 4 EA 16 Channel High Speed Analog Input/Recorder with Interface Board, Part Number ADF16R-411; 4 EA 16 Channel Digital to Analog Output Module, Part Number DA016-101;1 EA NRE Fee for ADF16R-411 and DA016-101 includes 1 (one) complete system. The Government intends to award a Sole Source contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 for the above product to MARS LABS, 29 C Street, Laurel, MD 20707. Note: This firm is the sole manufacturer of the products being requested. These items are components of a proprietary data acquisition system. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other will satisfy the agency requirements. All responses received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement not later than 5:00 PM, May 12, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
