- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, National Interagency Fire Center has a requirement for 300 ea 6,000 lb External Helicopter Leadlines. These devices are used to attach external loads to the cargo hook of a helicopter during suppression efforts of wildland fires. Firm, fixed-price offers shall be requested under Request for Quotations (RFQ) No. RAQ084006 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation package will be posted on or about May 8, 2008, thereafter, the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov or directly at http://ideas.nbc.gov. Quotes shall be due no later than close of business May 22, 2008. This is a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, however, all small business concerns are encouraged to respond. If a fair and reasonable quote is not received by a responsible and responsive Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business concern, all quotes received from small business concerns will be considered without further notice. The NAICS code is 423510 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Prospective offerors must be registered, and must maintain an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration database found at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications must be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov or a completed copy of FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items must be submitted with the quote.
