Description
Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number __HURLF040180048__ is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular __2005-24__. This is an unrestricted acquisition or 100% set-aside for ___Small Business__. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is _423910_ with a size standard of __500__; the SIC code was _5551____. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: Line Item 0001:____(2008 20' Pontoon Boats with 60 hp mercury 4-stroke engines with 25" Pontoons with lifetime warranty and single axle galvanized trailers, USCG Equipment Package; life vest, fire extinguisher, throw cushion, dock line, anchor line, Bimini Top, AF/AM CD Radio, 2 speakers, Gage Package, Trim and Tilt, Navagation lights, Docking lights, would prefer Vinyl flooring but Carpet is acceptable, 5 year warranty on models with carpet, bench seating throughout the boat, through bolted deck cleats, anodized deck trim, 12 volt receptacle, water ready rigged, horn, boarding ladder, all aluminum transom with lifetime warranty, 3/4' Plywood deck with lifetime warranty, wheelchair accessable gates.)___. Or Equal offers will be accepted. FOB: Destination for delivery to (Outdoor Recreation 1 SOSVS/SVRO 100 marina Rd Bldg 92423 HURLBURT FIELD FL 32544-5328). The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applies to this acquisition with Paragraph (b) incorporating the following DFARS clauses: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program; DFARS 252.225-7036 Buy American –Free Trade Agreement—Balance of Payments Program; DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; DFARS 252.243-7002, Requests for Equitable Adjustment; DFARS 252.243-7023, Transportation of supplies by sea; and AFFARS 5352.201-9101, OMBUDSMAN. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, evaluation of Commercial Items which is incorporated into this Request for Quote, with an addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical Compliance will be rated as either acceptable or unacceptable. To be determined acceptable, the offered product must be the items or equivalent items per the technical specifications listed in this solicitation. Once the offer is determined Technically Acceptable, price and delivery time shall be considered. Both factors considered, delivery shall not be approximately equal to price.
