- This announcement is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The services to be acquired are Advanced Digital Forensic Training to include Windows Based Investigation; email, graphics and file recovery; access to encrypted files and registry file data. Deliverables include Project Management Plan; instruction on Advance Digital Forensics Training; Registry file Data – Using a registry viewer, Windows Based Investigation, e-mail, graphics and file recovery; Certification Program and Status Reports. The contractor is required to provide all equipment, training, and materials for the training classes for five (5) custom training classes with duration of nine days per class for up to 210 people. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 611699 business size standard is $6,500,000.00. The sole source contractor is AccessData Corp, 384 South 400 West, Lindon, UT, 84042. This requirement contains existence of limited rights in data and AccessData has maintained sole proprietorship of its data. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the government will consider responses received by May 16, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
