BRU-46 and BRU-47 Bomb Ejector Racks, NSN: 1095014593951 and NSN: 1095014593951. Drawings and Specifications are not available. Proven Source is EDO CORPORATION, DEFENSE SYSTEMS, 1500 NEW HORIZONS BLVD, AMITYVILLE NY 11701-1130. Size, dimensions: Part numbers are as follows: NSN: 1095014594688 Part Number: 116200-8 Size/Dimension Height: 6" Width: 2" Depth: 26.9" Pounds: 41.9 lbs. Form/Function: The BRU-46 Bomb Ejector Rack consists of components which carry, arm, release and forcibly eject stores. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel and Aluminum, Electrical components Noun: RACK,BOMB EJECTOR,A NHA: F-15E or F-22A Tech Order: 11B29-3-60-2. NSN: 1095014593951 Part Number: 116000-8 Size/Dimension Height: 6.7" Width: 3.0" Depth: 35.7" Pounds: 87.5 lbs. Form/Function: The BRU-47A is a bomb ejector unit used to carry and eject conventional and nuclear weapons. It is capable of ejecting weapons in an armed or unarmed condition. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel and aluminum Noun: RACK,BOMB EJECTOR,A NHA: F-15E or F-22A Tech Order: 11B29-3-61-2. This requirement will be solicited as a five year requirements contract with a basic ordering period of one year and options to extend the ordering period for up to four additional years. Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) for the first year will be 157 each BRU-46 and 332 each BRU-47 racks BEQs for option years will be 80 BRU-46 & 160 BRU-47 racks per year Unit of issue is each. Destination information will be furnished on each individual order. Delivery schedule will be 24 months ARO each individual order. Numbered notes 22 and 26 apply.. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" will apply. OMBUDSMAN (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions). (c) If resolution cannot be made by the contracting officer, concerned parties may contact the Center/MAJCOM ombudsmen, ALAN MATHIS at 478 926 -4028, FAX 478 926 -7132, email ALAN.MATHIS@ROBINS.AF.MIL. Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations that cannot be resolved at the MAJCOM/DRU level, may be brought by the concerned party for further consideration to the Air Force ombudsman, Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary (ADAS) (Contracting), SAF/AQC, 1060 Air Force Pentagon, Washington DC 20330-1060, phone number (703) 588-7004, facsimile number (703) 588-1067. (d) The ombudsman has no authority to render a decision that binds the agency. (e) Do not contact the ombudsman to request copies of the solicitation, verify offer due date, or clarify technical requirements. Such inquiries shall be directed to the Contracting Officer.
