- Description
- The Regional Contracting Center, Installation Contracting Command at Fort Bragg, NC, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Raeford Aviation to provide skydiving / freefall aircraft lift tickets for the United States Army Parachute Team (USAPT) located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This requirement will have a period of performance that begins 14 May 2008 through 13 May 2009. This requirement will require the contractor to provide commercial aircraft transportation and drop zone that must be published in the Code of Federal Regulation 32 CFR 861 and DOD Directive 4500.53. The contractor must be a DOD approved certified carrier. The contractor shall provide a total of 3500 aircraft lift tickets. The contractor shall have a drop zone located within 20 mile radius of Fort Bragg to reduce adversely impact to USAPT mission. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 711320, Promoters of Performing Arts, Sports, and Similar Events without Facilities with a small business size standard of $6.5 millions.
