- Solicitation Number: W9124R-08-T-1143 Response Date: 11:00 AM MST, 19 May 2008. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This CSS is being issued as a Brand Name or Equal pursuant to FAR Part 52.211-6 (Aug 1999). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement for the the purchase of six (6) R355 BA100U Connectors, Emerson part number F252160, six (6) R355 Tie Plates without ground option, Emerson part number F531318, six (6) R355 Label Kits, Emarson part number F533070, six (6) Armadillo Splice Kits, Preformed part number 8006219, six (6) Cement 4 oz. cans, Preformed part number 80802377, 1,250 MFT 600 pair 22 awg 995220600 Superior part number 09-081-02, 2,500 MFT 200 pair 22 awg 995220200 Superior part number 09-073-02, 2,500 MFT 100 pair 22awg 995220100, Superior part number 09-069-02, and 2,500 MFT 50 pair 22 awg 995220050, Superior part number 09-065-02. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-25 (22 April 2008) and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs) current to DCN 20080423 edition. Government IMPAC Visa Payment Card is the preferred method of payment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423690 with a size standard of 500 employees. Quotes shall be clearly marked W9124R-08-T-1143 Cables and emailed to the POC listed below or via facsimile at (928) 328-6849 no later than 11:00 AM MST Wednesday, 19 May 2008. Offerors who fail to furnish the required representations or information as required by FAR 52. 212-1, FAR 52.212-3, and DFAR 252.212-7001 cited below, or reject terms and conditions of this CSS may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to the responsible bidder whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on acceptability and price.
