- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO)website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval SurfaceWarfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located athttp://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point ofentry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World WideWeb is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface WarfareCenter, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBOwebsite is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for 34 footGooseneck Trailer(s) and 20 foot Deck Over Trailer(s). The commercialsolicitation shall be issued utilizing full and open competition procedures with100% set-aside for small business. The requirement is anticipated to result in a firm fixed price, indefinitedelivery, indefinite quantity contract for a period of five (5) years with aminimum order quantity of 1 trailer of each trailer type and a maximum orderquantity of 10 trailers of each trailer type. Delivery will be FOB Destination,NSWC Crane Division, Crane IN, 47522-5000. Inspection and acceptance will be atDestination by NSWC Crane personnel. The solicitation will be available on oraround 15 May 2008 on FBO and NECO. Closing date will be on or around 23 May2008. Offers will be required to submit price proposals and past performance.The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is thebest value to the Government considering price and past performance factors. Nohard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Interested sources must requestcopies from the POC. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on "Submit Bid" does notguarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format.It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the POC at NSWCCrane.
