- HSCG87-08-B-643027. CONSTRUCT NEW ENTRIES ON 12 SITKA HOUSING UNITS AT USCG AIR STATION SITKA, ALASKA. Project 485744. Contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, transportation, and labor for the addition of two enclosed, roofed entries for each of 12 enlisted four-plex housing buildings, 24 total entries. These entries shall include foundation, exterior doors, windows, walls, lighting, heat, interior finishes, railings, stairs, and all related work. New concrete sidewalks shall replace existing. The project shall consist of a base bid item and two option items. Option item 1 will consist of enclosing and finishing existing porches on two additional four-plex buildings. Option item 2 will consist of the installation of open porch roof and railings for the center storage entry door of each of these buildings. Project completion date is by December 15, 2008. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236118 and the applicable size standard is $31.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 22 May, 2008 at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of due date for receipt of bids. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package. A plan holders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau.
