Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources and response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractors expense. The Government is seeking qualified sources with specific and recent experience with any or all of the subsystems within the Marine Corps Command & Control Systems (MACCS). The following subsystems comprise the MACCS Sustainment Program: Communications Data Link System (CDLS) with Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI); Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) with Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS); Tactical Air Operations Module (TAOM); Sector Anti-Air Warfare Facility (SAAWF); TAOM Interface Unit (TIU); Air Defense Communication Platform (ADCP); Beyond Line of Site (BLOS) gateway; Multi-Radar Tracker (MRT); Theater Ballistic Management Core System (TBMCS); Diagnostic Support Tool (DST); Commanders Tactical Terminal (CTT) MACCS interface software (currently TIPOFF); and engineering Development Model (EDM) Communications Interface System (CIS). The intent of this effort is to provide continued technical MACCS support, including the performance of interoperability certification testing, analysis, evaluating software and hardware, fielding and training to the operating forces, and review of all supporting documentation. The work to be performed involves access to and handling of classified material up to and including Secret; contractors staff shall possess at least a Secret clearance. Industry responses to this RFI may determine the Governments acquisition strategy. Responses shall explain in detail: (1) the contractors specific and unique experience with regards to the specific subsystems of MACCS; (2) a reference list of related MACCS subsystem contracts within the past three (3) years, to include contract number, dollar value, a brief description of services, and points of contact with phone number; (3) information related to the contractors business size and socioeconomic status; (4) a copy of the GSA Federal Supply Schedule if the contractor has a GSA contract identifying the applicable labor categories; and (5) a statement as to the capability of providing contractor employees with the required security clearances. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and it does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Interested parties having the required experience and skills to meet all the above requirements are invited to submit a capability statement to carol.amano@usmc.mil by 23 May 2008 at 2 PM Pacific Time.
