- Solicitation Number: VA-248-08-RI-0294 Synopsis: Sources Sought for: Domiciliary Food Delivery Service Requirement: Delivery of prepared meals ( three 2'x 3 cook and chill boxes) 7 days a week including all federal and other holidays from James A Haley Tampa Hospital 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd Tampa FL to the Domiciliary Program Building at 4700 East Habana AVE. Tampa, Fl. This will include pick up and return of prior days boxes for a combined total of approximately 20 miles round trip per day. Vehicle type 16' refrigerated truck with lift gate w/cart stops and tie down equipment or equivalent. Truck shall be equipped with straps for securing mobile food carts which will contain the prepared meals. The driver shall posses at a minimum, a Florida safe driver class B license, and Drivers shall have evidence of HACCP training, i.e. food handling/transport procedures. The contractor shall be responsible for the truck and driver as well as provide liability insurance for the contents being transported. The contractor shall provide coverage for sick leave and other absences. Interested vendors should provide a capability statement, and answer the questions below.
