- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Marine Fisheries Service, Beaufort Lab, located in Beaufort, NC, has a requirement for a contractor to provide personnel, materials, and related equipment for a vessel charter to perform research dive operations in the Dry Tortugas Ecological Reserve, as described in the statement of work. The solicitation is only available on line and will be available for download on or about May 2, 2008. Interested parties should e-mail their information and point of contact to janie.m.laferty@noaa.gov. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business and is intended for award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial items. The applicable NAICS number is 561520 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million annually. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency. All quotations are due by 11:00 a.m. EST, May 13, 2008. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov and obtain a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505.
