Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR12.603 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award on a full and open competition basis. The specifications for the Super High Frequency (SHF) AN/WSC-6(V)5 Antenna Repair are attached to the SPAWAR E-commerce website and will be firm-fixed price to be delivered 12-months after receipt of award. Item Description: Repair of Super High Frequency (SHF) AN/WSC-6(V)5 Antenna Quantity: 1 Antenna Delivery Date: 12-months after receipt of award Delivery Location: The Government intends awardee to cover shipping costs from Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston, Det. Norfolk, as well as FOB destination to SSC San Diego. Offers shall be evaluated based on offeror's ability to meet the attached Requirements Statement, past performance, and price. While price is a significant factor, award will be made based on technically acceptable, responsive, responsible bids. This synopsis incorporates provisions and clauses at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Terms and Conditions Commercial Items. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. Additionally, offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) may be accessed at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. This is a small business set-aside, NAICS 334220, 811213, and small business size standard 750, $6.5M (respectively).
